Squeegee Handle
Our handles are made from aluminium. We can make custom squeegee handles up to 2 metres wide. All of our squeegee blades are made from spun urethane polymers. The blades have good resistance to solvents and water based inks. These blades also exhibit good abrasion resistance which means the blade stay sharper for longer. All our blades have overall dimensions of 50 mm x 9 mm.
Squeegee Blade Number 11
Red Blade Number 11 Soft
When using this soft blade you may get a less sharp image but your ink deposit will be increased resulting in more opacity and thicker prints. This blade is used mainly by water based textile printers. This Blade has a shore value of 60 - 65. See our number 18 blade which will increase ink deposits even more.
Green Blade Number 11 Medium
This is our most popular blade and 95% of customer use it. Print quality will be good and any imperfections in base board or substrate will be minimised by this blade. This Blade has a shore A value of 70 - 75.
Blue Blade Number 11 Hard
The hard squeegee blade is only used by graphic printers when printing paper, board or plastics. The hard blade may show tram lines and any base board imperfections. This blade would only be used with finer mesh counts and puts the least amount of ink on to the substrate. This Blade has a shore value of 80 - 90.
Squeegee Blade Number 18 And 35
Red Blade Number 18 Soft
When using the soft Round blade the image may be less precise, but the ink deposit will be increased resulting in more opacity and thicker print. This blade is used mainly by water based textile printers. It can help when printing a fabric whose surface is uneven and irregular. This Blade has a shore value of 60 - 65
Blue / White / Blue Blade Number 35
This blade has all the advantages of the blades above, print with a soft and hard blade at the same time. The blade is made from a combination of a hard white centre piece and two soft blue outer pieces. This type of blade is great for printing on uneven surfaces and still achieving a sharp print. This Blade has a shore value of 65 outer edge, inner piece has a shore value of 90.
