Our handles are made from aluminium. We can make custom squeegee handles up to 2 metres wide. See our price lists below for our standard range of handles fitted with any of our Standard Blades.

Squeegee Blade

All of our squeegee blades are made from spun urethane polymers. The blades have good resistance to solvents and water based inks. These blades also exhibits good abrasion resistance which means the blade stays sharper longer. All our blades have overall dimensions of 50 mm x 9 mm. Our most popular blade is our No 11. It is available in 3 different hardness values. The blades are colour coded for each hardness (Shore Value). The blades shape is rectangle giving two sharp edges for print flood stroke.

Soft Blade No 11 (Red)

When using the soft blade you may get a less sharp image but your ink deposit will be increased resulting in more opacity and thicker prints. This blade is used mainly by water based textile printers. This Blade has a shore value of 60 - 65. See our number 18 blade which will increase ink deposits even more.

Medium Blade No 11 (Green)

The medium blade is used by ninety five percent of our customers. Print quality will be good and any imperfections in base board or substrate will be minimised by this blade. This Blade has a shore A value of 70 - 75.

Hard Blade No 11 (Blue)

The hard squeegee blade is only used by graphic printers when printing paper, board and plastics. The hard blade may show tram lines and any base board imperfections. This blade would only be used with finer mesh counts and puts the least amount of ink on to the substrate. This Blade has a shore value of 80 - 90.

Soft Round Blade No 18 (Red)

When using the soft Round blade you may get a less sharp image but your ink deposit will be increased resulting in more opacity and thicker print. This blade is used mainly by water based textile printers. It can help when printing a fabric who’s surface is uneven and irregular. This Blade has a shore value of 60 - 65ll increase ink deposits even more.

Tri Blade No 35 (Blue/White/Blue)

When using the soft blade you may get a less sharp image but your ink deposit will be increased resulting in more opacity and thicker prints. This blade is used mainly by water based textile printers. This Blade has a shore value of 60 - 65. See our number 18 blade which will increase ink deposits even more.
